Grand Waterfront Retreat – Under 1hr from Toronto

If you can get by the state of disrepair it was still a good value place for a group. Positive: Good location, price and adequate space for a good of 3 or 4 couples. Negative: The write up on Booking.com says nothing about the house being a duplex. The ground floor is occupied by what seems to be a full time residence. You rent the top three floors. The property needs to have a professional cleaner and handyman to come in for a thorough inspection and clean. The main areas like kitchen and toilet areas are neat and tidy but many common areas in the house needed repairs. Most walls had some sort of damage- marks or dents. There is some wiring poking out from the walls. The house has high ceilings and in the stairwells there were large cobwebs. Items like towel racks or toilet roll holders were in a state of disrepair. The master bedroom ensuite mirror was wiped with a dirty cloth. The freezer in the kitchen took several days to freeze (owners did offer to make some arrangements to swap it but we could manage without it). I suspect the house has always been a short term rental property and is showing signs of needing repairs.

Wow magnifique Vue Positive: La maison est vraiment magnifique. La vue sur le lac est à couper le souffle !!! Beau grand espace, 4 terrasse pour aller se prélassé dont une sur le toit. La chambre des maître avec sa propre terrasse, la vue sur le lac et une salle de bain vraiment moderne. La prise de possession a été facile, super bonne communication avec les propriétaire qui ont répondu rapidement à mes questions. Nous avons passé un très beau moment et j'y retournerais Negative: Le point à améliorer serait la propreté, Le BBQ inutilisable tellement il a besoin d'un grand nettoyage, le four, ainsi que les murs surtout la ou les gens mettent les mains, intérupteur et autres... Une si belle maison on dirait qu'elle est laissée la, sans amour
